Trailblazers squeeze out a nail-biter against the Tigers to improve to 9-2 on the year.
The Tigers (11-1) had the chance to make it to 12-0 on the season against powerhouse Capital Prep, who hasn’t loss to an in-state team since 2012. It was a 14-1 second-half run that broke the game open for the Trailblazers who went on to win, 49-43. Syracuse Orange commit, Desiree Elmore, scored 13 points on 4/16 shooting. Destinee Perry, finished with a game-high 17 points for the Tigers.
